Overview

What is the Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND)?

The Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) is a higher education program offered by Pearson, the UK’s largest awarding organization. It allows students to progress directly to the final year of a three-year university degree in the UK (top-up year) and ultimately gain the right to permanent residency in the United Kingdom.

In Which Languages Is the Program Offered and What Are the Requirements?

The programs will be offered in two language options — English and Turkish, both following the same curriculum.
To be admitted into the English-taught program, a minimum B2 level of English proficiency is required.
Anyone who has graduated from high school or higher education, or is in the process of completing high school, is eligible to apply for the HND program.

Universities Accepting the Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma

The Pearson BTEC HND is recognized by over 300 universities worldwide, primarily in the United Kingdom, for advanced entry (international top-up) into undergraduate programs. In addition, we have exclusive institutional agreements with several UK universities. These partner universities offer our HND graduates special advantages, discounts, and streamlined pathways when progressing to the final year of their degree programs.

Why Should You Graduate from a University in the United Kingdom (UK)?

The United Kingdom is one of the most welcoming countries in Western Europe for qualified international graduates to adapt and thrive. You will study and live in an environment where the language of communication is English — the global language. During your final year of study in the UK, you will be legally entitled to work up to 20 hours per week, allowing you to gain experience, improve your English, and cover part of your living expenses while familiarizing yourself with the country before graduation.
